The only time that you may be required to read law books may be while you are in law school, but there are other instances where you may want to read a law book or two.  It is only going to be beneficial to you in the end.  In fact, you may discover that you really like reading law books.  Reading law books is bound to be an enjoyable experience for you.  After all, the reason why you decided to go to law school to begin with was because you were interested in the legal system.  Reading law books is an extension of this satisfaction.

1.  There is one very important reason that you should read law books.  Aside from the law books that you are required to read while in law school, there are also law books out there that are designed to help you with law school.  While in law school, sometimes you just need that additional help.  During law school, you are not always going to get the extra assistance that you are going to need in the classroom.  You have to branch out and seek out the knowledge that you are going to need.  Law school is about learning to adapt to this kind of learning style.  Law school works to give you the training that you are going to need as an attorney.  As a law school student, you would have to turn to law books and several other sources if you are planning on taking a case in which you are not 100% sure of the laws associated with the case that you will be presenting.

2.  You should read law books if you want help on your exams.  They are definitely beneficial on helping you brush up on your legal studies.  They are available to help you with your law school examinations.  Law books are even there to help you with your entry level law school exams.  There are many tips that are offered to you that you can benefit from.  They will help to simplify things for you so that you may have the upper hand in your studies.  There are many prep books that are out there that have a wealth of knowledge that you ought to take advantage of. 

3.  You want to read a law book because many are written to outline what is new in the study of law.  There are typically legal issues that are surfacing in which the legal system is working on composing laws to set boundaries and enforce punishments for defiance of those laws.  It will help you to stay current and find out new developments in several areas of the law.
