Online Law Schools

If you live in the state of California, you may want to consider attending an online law school.  Online law school may be the way to go because in the state of California you may attend one of the online law schools, and still be able to practice law without passing the Bar.  In fact, if you meet certain requirements, you may not even have to take the Bar at all.  This is because the American Bar Association (ABA), does not allow applicants that attended law school online.  However, in the state of California, you are not required to take the Bar in order to practice as a lawyer.  It is important before you even begin looking into the different online law schools, to decide what the requirements are, and whether or not you meet them.  If you decide that you are going to look into one of those online law schools, there are definitely some great possibilities out there.  

1.  The first thing that you are going to want to do when searching for online law schools is find the online law school that is going to match your career goals.  Some might say that it is a bit harder task to find a job in the legal industry having graduated from an online law school, so you are going to want to do the best that you can at selecting an online law school that is going to allow you to have the career that you desire.

2.  On the other hand, keep in mind that online law schools may be the area to look under certain circumstances.  Do not feel like an underachiever if you graduated from online law school, especially if you are content that that was the best choice for you.  Many people choose online law schools because they are already in a good job in the legal industry that they do not want to leave.  They do not want to take the risk of taking a leave of absence to attend law school, in order to come back to find out that they are out of a job.  Many are confident that if they go to online law school while they are working at a law firm that they are content with, there are possibilities to move up as an attorney, right within the firm.

3.  Other people attend online law schools because they really want to go to law school, but there is a major determinant standing in their way.  For some people that enroll in online law schools, have to because they do not have the funds to attend a physical law school institution.  They turn to the online law schools because they still want to get that law school education, by any means necessary.
